Have used the ECO three times now. After it gets going the smoke, embers and smell is minimal. I was careful not to overload it with wood (keeping the fire a bit lower) and used good quality hardwood only. The firepit and bag are very good quality. We love it.

I have been eyeing the Ecoflame fire pit for a couple months and finally purchased during a sale. I love this product. It was exactly as described, looks great and fits in our courtyard. Yet to use it for cooking but will soon.
